Does anyone know anything positive about above lady?
In 1860, at the age of 16 (so my family told me), she married John Mansell. (He died in 1880).
They lived in Gloucestershire, had a son, William(Bill) and daughter Georgiana and settled in Stow on the Wold.
In about 1870, Isabella moved in next door, with Thomas Kendall, taking with her a younger daughter, Frances (Fanny) Mansell.
In about 1880 she married Thomas Kendall,with whom she had a child, Mary Ann in June1881.
Thomas Kendall died in 1892.
On Christmas Day,1893, Isabella Kendall married Henry Curry.
From then till now(decades!) I cannot find any trace of either Isabella or Henry Curry!
However, I did recently find a marriage, in Watford Herts, in 1906, for a Frances Fanny Mansell to an Albert H Rickard. I'm hoping to find some evidence from their marriage certificate.

Jasmine, I am a bit hazy about how much concrete info you have and how much is family stories.
Have you got her on a census so we can start there? And do you know anything else about Henry?

Dear Everyone (who answered my enquiry re my great grandmother, Esabella(and variants)White/Mansell/Kendall/Curry/Hickman)

Thank you all very much for all the information you have supplied. This has been a very great help in backing up all the work I have done for many years.

Did you get this information from originals as I used to do before we all had to use the computer, or via computer?

I ask this, as in one case, Isabella (under name of Hickman) was put down as being born in WINCHESTER, Gloucestershire (It should have read WINCHCOMBE,Gloucestershire, as Winchester is in Hampshire. I was also a little worried by LADY WOON. I did find some real howlers in the early digital transcriptions I had to use, like "a member of a grass band"?!

However, All in all, I was very pleased today 23rd Jan 2013 (as I had trouble with not being able access my email provider over the last week - exasperation!!).
