Re 1930 - I read her age as 20 -it's a poorly formed zero, and does look like an 8.
1900 https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/M3WG-6QL head William Lockhart M 38 Penna wife Isabella Lockhart F 39 Ireland daughter Elizabeth Lockhart F 14 Penna daughter Bertha Lockhart F 8 Penna daughter Maud Lockhart F 6 Penna son Samuel Lockhart M 2 Penna boarder Joseph Lockhart M 27 Ireland boarder William Erving M 19 Penna [can't really make out addy - maybe 1945 Wharton St, Phildelephia PA. Jos is described as boarder in Wm Lockart's h/h. Wm b Nov 1862 in PA could be a cousin. Although Wm was supposedly born in PA, he immig 1883 and is a naturalized citizen. Wm is a cloth cutter, and Jos is a teamster.]
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/M3WG-TGC head Robert H Huey M 28 Ireland wife Margaret Huey F 26 Ireland son Henry J Huey M 3 Pennsylvania boarder Sarah Gormley F 23 Ireland [addy=1910 Gerritt St, so 4 blocks S of Wharton. Sarah is a dressmaker, and her landlord is a teamster.]
Couldn't find 1910

Don't know if this is your Gladys returning from a trip to Europe?

Found this, you may already know it:
Selected U.S. Naturalization Records - Original Documents, 1790-1974
Name: Joseph Francis Lockhart State: Colorado Court Type: District Court Court Location: Denver, Colorado Naturalization Record Type: Petitions for Naturalization
This record was dated 15 Feb 1910 and at that time he stated he had one child, Oliver Joseph Lockhart born 29 Jan 1908 in Denver. (So it seems likely that Dorothy Gladys age on the 1920 census is the correct one, not the 1930)
Joseph was born 15 April 1872 in Donegal and was married to Sarah Jane Gormley who was from Stuban ?? Ireland. They lived 2109 East 16th Avenue, Denver.
He arrived in USA at New York 03 August 1893 on the Furnessa ??
He declared his intention for citizenship in Pennsylvania 24 September 1895. He had lived in Colorado since 2 February 1905.

Just posting the Household occupants from the 1930:
Joseph F Lockhart 57 Sarah J Lockhart 52 Oliver J Lockhart 22 Gladys D Lockhart 28 <<
and then the 1920:
Joseph F Lockhort 47 Sarah Lockhort 42 Oliver Joseph Lockhort 11 Dorothy Gladys Lockhort 9 <<
On both records the transcribed age seems to be the same as what's on the original image, but one of them has to be wrong?

I knew about Rita being in America and have details as to how she was related to our family. My Granny used to write to her in America before she died.
My Granny (& her address book!) has been a great source of knowledge even though this was her husband's family, not hers. The biggest problem I have is that there seems to be very few relatives left in the family line so I'm trying to trace the ones we didn't have any details about.
Thanks

The Oliver Joseph Lockhart listed on census is a son, not a brother

I have recently found a relative I didn't know I had! Her name is Gladys Dorothy Lochhart / Lockhort. Her father was Joseph F Lockhart listed on the 1920 & 1930 census records as being in Denver Colorado born in Ireland.
Her mother was Sarah Jane Gormley born in Ireland and she had a brother Oliver J. Lockhart listed on the census as well. I know Oliver married (Margaret?) and had no kids ? but didn't know about Gladys until I seen the census records. It says she was born around 1902.
Any info / help on this would be greatly appreciated.
