Thank you Dea. :)
I have one more question - is the occupation of Fred Gee accessible for the banns for the marriage of Mary Petrie to Ernest Gee?
I have found a Gee family in 1891 in Huddersfield with Fred as a father and Ernest as a son, and it states Fred is a wool weaver. Just wondering if this matches or if I can be sure this is the right family.
Thank you!

You are very welcome Helen - Do let us know if there is anything more you need on them. - Just nudge this thread up.

Frustratingly, like Vera, I cannot yet find Isabella on the 1901 :-(

Oh Dea, thank you SO much. It means so much to me to know what happened to the Petrie sisters. A family mystery has been resolved - for years we've wondered whatever happened to Isabella. Thanks to Vera too, we now know more about Mary Petrie. I have been digesting all the information and am so happy. A big thank you to everyone who took the time to research this topic. :)

Her address at marriage was the same as she had on 1911 census where she was with the Micklethwaite's.

Vera, that is yet another amazing result!!!
Can I ask, do you have access to her registered address at the time of marriage?
Even if you don't, you have made my day yet again. I am so happy to know more about Mary. I am so grateful. Thank you!
