thats him i think,the john lees age 70 is the brother of robert lees maxstoke.only problem theres no record of robert lees age 9

Yes, I see John was also born Maxstoke. On the 61 census Robert is listed as visitor while John & Sarah are boarders. Probably Robert is the grandson of John & Sarah? But who are his parents?

john and sarah only had daughters 7 or 8 .one of them is mary heath who they were lodgeing.johns brother robert, maxstoke had a son b 1825-27 .a street grinder then gold cutter.he and his wife mary ann had a few children .but were married after 1852.im looking into the possilility that they had my gg grandad out of wedlock and he was brought up by other family members.
