Find Ancestors

Hi, is anyone free to do a census search for me please

If possible 1911 census Florence May Ward (nee wroe) born 1888 and Charles Ward born 1876. There children by then I think were Charles Ernest Ward 1909, Florence May Ward 1907 and Gwendoline 1911. They should be living in Durham.
I'm really trying to see where it states Florence and Charles were born and any occupations. Also if anyone else was in the household.

Hi wondering if anyone can offer any advice or point me in the right direction as to where I can search next.

I'm trying to trace Florence May Ward (nee Wroe) born abt 1888 in Middlesborough, Yorkshire and Charles Ward born abt 1876 in Plumstead, Kent.
Another genes member has kindly just found them for me on the 1911 census living in Durham with their 3 young children, Charles Ernest, Florence May and Gwendoline. It states Charles' occupation as a Bricklayer and that they have been married for 6 years.
I cant seem to find either of them anywhere previous to the census record. Cant find any marriage record, census record, baptisms etc.
Any ideas or websites would be a great help.

The way to settle it is to buy one of their children's birth certificates and see what name(s) it gives for Florence May.

Do you know of any children they may have had after 1911?

It's quite possible that they never actually married and she assumed the name "Ward"

Yeah guess she may have assumed the Ward surname.

Any one have ideas where I can try and trach them before though, ie. with their own parents etc

Interesting, well worth noting down.

I have got a copy of Eveline's birth certificate and it states Florence May Ward, nee Wroe and then just father names as Charles and occupation Bricklayer. May well be worth ordering one of two of her siblings certificates though to see if any other info is disclosed.

May be my Grandmother, parents should show here as John Wroe and Elizabeth Mitchell. In 1911 Census my grandmother has married Charles Ward and lives in Durham with 3 children.
