there are other sites but they are more expensive.

The only remaining Irish censuses are 1901 and 1911 (on this site: http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/ )

It is free to search and view images but as Anne appears to have been in England then, it might not be of much help.

Where did Anne marry, which church?

Edit: marriage on Lancs BMD gives Registry Office or Registrar Attended, which suggests a Catholic marriage.

familysearch ( https://familysearch.org/search ) has these 3 births:

Anne Crilley
Ireland, Civil Registration Indexes, 1845-1958

birth: 1867 Newry, Ireland

birth: 1869 Armagh, Ireland

Anne Crilly
Ireland, Civil Registration Indexes, 1845-1958

If you look at each record, it will give you volume and page nos need to order the certs. This is the site for Irish certs: www.groireland.ie/apply_for_a_cert.htm .

Doing a similar search for John, there are several results but this one looks interesting:

Citing this Record:
"Ireland Births and Baptisms, 1620-1881," index, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/F5MD-BM4 : accessed 15 Aug 2013), John, 14 Aug 1869.

There is also a record for the civil registration of a birth in Down.

There are a few records for this birth/baptism. They have different batch nos. If you click on the batch no and enter the parents' names in the search boxes, it might bring up other children for the same couple.

I will let you experiment to see what you can find!
