Find Ancestors

I am searching for this man, who may have been married to my maternal aunt.Last saw them in Nazeing, Essex in 1965,but cant find their deaths or any other info.Anyone have any ideas

Your aunts name and year of birth, also William' birth/place details, parents etc, would all help

My Aunt was Rose Bargess [ Wheeler] and she was born in 1882, in Kensington,dont know any details of Wiliam,except he could have been born in Edmonton, London in 1879/1881. They ran a plant nursey in Nazeing in 1950s and into early 1960s. Had a son we knew as Bill.

How old - ish - was son Bill and was he their son, her son or his son? What makes you think William was born 1880 ish in Edmonton?

So why do you now think he is William Coxhead?

Hi, yes to Rose birth and marriage,but her and Sidney separated in approx 1906/7 and he " married an Elizabeth Browning in1907.Have not found a divorce.
Only think Wiliam was born then as the data fitted with area etc. Have been in touch with Epping council and found that W.J.Coxhead ran the nurseries in Nazeing where I used to visit them in 50s, and Auntie Rose lived there with Uncle Bill, and we met Cousin Bill a few times on our visits. He was in his ? earky or mid 30s then.Rose came to my fathers funeral in Chingford in 1965, but contact was lost after that as my brother, sister and I moved away and lost touch with some of the family. I have since found some of the family recently through Genes but noone has any further info re Rose and Bill.She was my maternal grandmothers sister.

Hi,yes to the info re Rose and Sidney,which I already have,but cannot seem to get any further with Rose. Have tried looking for Wheeler and Burgess [Bargess] to no avail. Info re William seems likely,but not sure re the Braintree entry with him living in Nazeing. Also the search with Epping council suggested he was William Joseph.Am still open to other suggestions. The son is a mystery at the moment, relying on proof that he was a Coxhead, or ? born to Rose before she was with William.Hope this isnt too confusing, but a surname means everything in searching doesnt it?

Would be great if someone knew Bill, who may still be alive; probably in his late 70s or 80s.He was in the forces at some point, possibly National Service,and possibly worked in Waltham Cross/Nazeing in the early 60s.
