PM RECEIVED.....

Yes this is my family tree. William Sworn who married Ann Silby, Ann died 8/9/1756 and a William died 5/10/1777, this is the parents of William born 1741. William Sworn who married Mary Hodge in 1757 was a widow, this makes William who was born in 1741 too young to be a widow, therefore did his father marry Mary Hodges after Ann Silby's death. Look forward to hearing from you. Do you know anything about Thomas born 1744, John 1743 and Samuel born 1755, who I think married and lived in Cheshire. I know of Ambrose born 1750. Sue

Not quite understanding why you have entered these facts in your tree if you think they are not possible.

Please keep replies on this thread.

Hi Sue and welcome to the Community Boards.

There are quite a few other members on this site who have the Sworn family in their trees. If you click on Search (above) and then on Search all Trees and enter some details, you will see what I mean.

You can contact the tree owners for further information.

I have entered this on my family tree because I believed it to be correct. I then found out that the William that married Mary Hodges was a widow. This is why I was asking for help, I thought we shared an ancestor in William and wondered who you had him married to.

The volunteer researchers on here are just that ... not related to the families they research at all.

Sorry I can't help.
where did you find the information of William being a widower when he married Mary Hodges?

It would be best to reply on the thread for all to see.

Thanks
Mike
