Tried to find birth or baptism of William H Huxtable /Thomas . No Huxtable but found two William H thomas for 1881 One Apl-May- june , one Jul -Aug Sep The census was 3rd April and he is listed as 1 month old on that so both are too late . Cannot find Baptism for Apl- May- june . found Baptism for July- Aug- Sep 1886 but mother is wrong . |

I tried the census either side There are a number of John Huxstables, but not born in Oxfordshire , it is in the county of Devon I think and there are a few in Devon ,but I don't know which is correct and it's costing me to try all of them |

yes St Aldates is correct but the transcript definitely says St Ardales. But there is NOT a birth in Oxfordshire that matches :-( |

I googled Saint Ardales , but it came up with Saint Aldates Oxford . Some transcritptions have errors cause of misreading the old writing on the census . looked on the census and saint ardales does seem right |

This is Sutton Farm, but he could easily have worked here between census records. |
