mgnv,
Sorry for the confusion......
'In the US at 1920 and 1930, Montague is found to be with his father"

In 1929 and 1930, I mean that his father, Henry John Boulton changed HIS family name

Cameron told me that he understood that Henry John Boulton had a new partner/wife called Maud and that they emigrated in 1910 taking Montague with them.
Montague is with his aunt Lucy in Canada in 1911 and yes he, is entered as Bolton. although his father is not on the census.
I coud not find anyone called Boulton, with their profiles after this.
I did a search of the US census using just their 1st names, places of birth ect and they popped up in Vermont 1920 then in New Jersey in 1930.

Henry does have a partner called Maud. They also have 2 more US born children, but Montague is also with them.
The new name is Skerus then Skern.
All the profiling matches and I am 100% sure that this is the missing Henry John Boulton, who married Marion Jack Riddick in 1900.
Edit:
I have now located Henry and Maud in the Us in 1940 and 1947...
name is Henry J B Skern
At 1940, Montague is married . Name is Skern mistranscribed as Skeen

Proof!
Travelled with Maude and daughter Helen.
This is the ONLY record which includes the name Boulton.
All US docs are simply.. Skern
