Scotlandspeople which is not a subscription site - you have to purchase credits

You can not view online death certs within the last 50 years but SP would give you the details to order the cert

i didnt really want to puschase 30 credits as i only want to look up 1 person,so what sort of info would i get off of there.

Linda,
Unless I am mistaken, the death cert that you wish is dated 2001.
It is not available to view on SP.
No death certs after 1961 can be viewed online.
It needs to be ordered.
Hopefully, I should be going to the GRO in Glasgow later this week and if I make it, I will look at that particular death record for you.
I will not be allowed to print this record, but I can write down all the info
