Thanks for them, on the 1910 census for Millie C Jacobus, there is a 60 year old William H Jacobus, does it say what his relation is?
Then on the 1920 census, there are Eva Cary and Elma Cary listed does it say there relations? Im also assuming that Fred W Jacobus aged 16 on this census is the William H Jacobus age 6 on the 1910 census?

And regards to Charles Marvin Wonfor, do we know who Marian Wonfor (next of kin) is? Could it be a wife? 1920 census for him you posted he is listed as widowed?

Found some more documents.
The Wonfor famiy were all members of St Paul's Episcopal Church in New Jersey.
George Arthur and his wife Alice became communicants in Feb 1909.
The same record shows that Alice died on 30 Jan 1914.
Her last name was indeed Colsey

2nd wife Ella is entered as a communicant in 1919

Thats fine no worries Anne you have helped me already and i appreciate that, makes me wish i had taken worldwide sub out now...but at the time my family were all in the UK and led pretty boring lives but now they start moving about a bit and i want to know more about this disaster so going to read on on google if it has anything there, thanks again

However, I backtracked to all the censuses
Birthplace for Edith Alice's mother on all of them was PA, therefore she should be Alice's child!

This boy did not drown and can be found with his wife on all subsequent returns up until 1940
He too was a photographer with his own studio

Anne the son George was he drowned too? Was he born US? Is he a son of George and Selina or George and one of his other wives?

Also just noticed that 1900 return is Delaware, Pennsylvania but they are on City Directories in Campden, New Jersey in 1902 and 1903 which is where the deaths were registered.
It looks as though his son was called George Alfred Wonfor.
1900 census confirms that this was Selina's only child

Well his occupation and that of his father match on both marriages so he can not have been a batchelor when he married Clara.

1900 census states he emigrated to the US in 1881

Saying that Joseph Wonfor was a chemist so it is possible that that marriage to Maria is him aswell

Just re checked the 1900 census in Delaware
George H Wonfor was a PHOTOGRAPHER!

As an artist and photographer he would have travelled so Yorkshire not too far fetched.

He's with Clara on censuses.
