Hello again - from all the inf I have, it appears that Catharine did not have any other Christian names.

Would it be worth my while putting a note in 'Find Living Relatives' with 'Australia' in my title?

Joyce.... the 'West Australian State Library' (on-line) would be your best bet ...they should find her on the electoral rolls from c1950. (possibly up until the time of marriage found with TAMLIN).

If they cannot find her then try the 'National Library of Aus' ..(Canberra) ..it covers ALL Australian States.

Just had another dig around....Catherine and Mary Margaret (shipping list) were listed as 'teachers'

I have found a 'Margaret Mary' on the ER's listed as a teacher in Freemantle. No luck with Catherine :, except a few entries that list 'a' Catherine as 'home duties' -(

Not convinced that the Catherine Ann* Walsh is the same person as she wasnt born with a middle name?

Hello Folks - no, I don't think Catherine had a middle name.
I am now waiting to hear from ther Nat Library - and I've also contacted the West Australian newspaper asking that they put a piece in.
Still in hope.........

Hello again - the Australian trail seems to have been a false one. The new inf that has emerged verbally is that Catharine WALSH married (Roy?) Coxeter-Smith some time after 1946. I have tried several sites but cannot find any evidence of this marriage. The other inf was that she died some time around 1997. Again, I can find no evidence to support this.
I'd be grateful if anyone could offer help here.

Many thanks Mike. This would appear to be the Death of Catharine - also the birth of one of her children.
The Catharine Walsh Ihave was born on the 16 Feb 1922 also, but with no middle name on my file.
I'm wondering iff she married a Roy Smith and somehow the 'Coxeter'hyphen was inserted at a later date. But certainly with the birth of Jonathan A, it shows his mother's maiden name as Walsh.

If you find her marriage would you let me know.
