Find Ancestors

Hi can anyone please help me. My great Grandfather x3 went to America along with his wife Eliza and two children whilst out in America they went onto have 2 more girls
born in Philadelphia. They appear on the 1951 English census So from about 1844 to 1851 must have arrived back in the Uk. I cannot find them on a return trip from the states and can not seem to find them whilst there are in America.

This is definitely the family going to US. Richard and Elizabeth born out of county which fits the 1851. Son William born Cheshire which also fits the 1851.

Yes thats the correct one in cheshir. later on he worked for the railways then went onto be a station master in London. Still a mystery why he went to America and why he did not stay.many thanks :-D

The marriage is the correct one many thanks. Another strange thing is Both Richard and Eliza died very close together Richard left eveything to Eliza and 1 other then when Eliza died it was left to Elizabeth as it as her down as only next of kin. Yet Lydia was still alive. Not sure about the others. I think William went back to America.
