Deaths in Tipperary Ireland between 1838 - 1861

I need some help to find the death of a relative Patrick Ryan c1815 Tipperary Ireland. He was alive from 1815 until the birth of his daughter Alice 1838 but I know his wife was a widow ( Catherine Ryan nee Lane) in 1862 I dont have any information on him for the years between all I know is that he lived in Tipperary. Any help as to where to look for his death..... the Irish deaths on ancestry seem to start 1864 which is too late. :-S |

Unfortunately registration in Ireland does not go further back, googling Tipperary deaths brought this up but obviously only an outside chance |
