Hi everyone, i hope you can help me a little further. I received the marriage certificate today of Percy Grayson and Doris Radford. Its thrown a spanner in the works :-S.

Info from the Certificate dated 25th April 1916:

Percy grayson age 20 (Born 1896) of 135 attercliffe rd, father William Grayson (deceased)

Married

Doris May Radford age 19 (Born 1897) father George Radford.

The info from the census data and the other trees I've been allowed to view say John and Mary Grayson were Percy's parents? Im wondering if William died quite young and a brother took over the family as John Edward Grayson witnessed the marriage of Percy and Doris?

Any info on William Grayson would be much appreciated! :-D I can't quiet make out the profession of William i think it says slate layer ??

My dad just confirmed that he was born at 62 Britnall Street and Percy (1927) siblings were George, Sydney, Mabel, Mildred, Marry, Silvia. Lots of info to get my teeth into. Thanks again :-)
