Hello, thanks for the above. I've clicked on the freecen link but don't know how to search. Any suggestions please on how to search.

Just last week FreeCEN completed the 1861 transcription for Co Durham.
I think FreeCEN's transcriptions are generally more accurate than FS, Ancestry or FMP. I also like to copy and paste their h/h displays, and the ability to click thru adjacent h/h's. The down-side is their coverage is quite spotty overall.

Hello, the second post right at the beginning of this thread shows a reference for Joseph on the 1861 census, but then says go to FMP to see the image. Could someone take a look and list the rest of the family and address on the 1861 census so I can put this part of the family to "bed" - thank you.
