Thanks Pam, unfortunately this isn't the right family. I've tried all sorts of combinations but cannot find them in 1861. I have them on all the others. Thanks for looking.

Marian - FYI
Just last week FreeCEN completed the 1861 transcription for Co Durham.
I think FreeCEN's transcriptions are generally more accurate than FS, Ancestry or FMP. I also like to copy and paste their h/h displays, and the ability to click thru adjacent h/h's. The down-side is their coverage is quite spotty overall.
