Just had confirmation from family that Vera's parents were Edward Sims and Elsie May Davies so may be on the right track after all. |

I have had to work back from Vera J. Sims born 1922. I am clutching at straws without ordering birth certificates at the moment as I am doing this for my grandaughter's paternal family . I believe without confirmation that Vera's parents were Edward Sims and Elsie M. Davies and that Edward's parents were the above. Struggling in the dark at the moment but using Familysearch as a lever. |

Thanks Maddie this looks more probable. Its possible they had two sons called Edward as I got the original birthdate from Familysearch and was confused by 2 different christenings. |

Thanks Margee I have that marriage.1901 index shows a William Sims born Bristol working in Liverpool. Perhaps Ellen was bringing up her family alone? Edward was his fathers second name and he was definately Edward J. Sims. |
