In 1873 on a certificate entering children into an orphanage was a Mr Murch. He is known to be an employer of someone named Price and an address given of Taunton Road Bridgwater could be his home or place of business.
One of the orphans Sidney A Price went to USA and married a Sadie Collins at the turn of the century. Sadie's mother was Susan Murch. Her grandfather Simeon Murch and grandmother Mehitable Jordan.
There is nothing found to link the English Murch to the American ones. It is not a common name so there may well be some connection but what is it?
