Laura Mizen was a witness at Frances's wedding - and I've just found the same family Charles/Eliza Mizen in 1881 with daughter Annie (Ann Marie) - I'll find it again and post the details. |

I've got several examples of where fathers occupations have been 'promoted' on marriage certs. eg Ag Lab to Framer. Big jump from Cowman to Bailiff, but I wouldn't rule it out. |

Well it certainly sounds better, maybe our ancestors were just as snobbish as we can be! The family does look likely for Annie & Laura. |
