Help with Wolfe/Kirk family

ProfilePosted byOptionsPost Date

Hippyheaven Report 3 Feb 2013 15:54

I am interested in finding anyone who is related to the Wolfe family originally from Cambridgeshire. My branch moved to Lincolnshire where my Grandmother Vera Annie Lilian Wolfe married a Harry Kirk and brought up her children in the area of Spalding and Boston. I already have the birth dates and other info on their family of four children.

I would like to find out more about that branch and fill in a few gaps in my tree. I have only just registered on here so am in the process of putting on my tree from another site.

Many thanks :-)

Thanks for replying and for the info. Very kind. I have a large tree with most of it on another site. I have gone way back with the various branches. It has been fascinating going back in history and finding that most worked in the agricultural industry around Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire
I am slowly transferring it from there to here. I want to see if there are any new relatives that I can contact. I am really interested to know about the Wolfe family that moved to Spalding from Cambridgeshire My Grandmother was Vera Annie Lilian Wolfe ( father was Ernest Wolfe and mother Gertrude Camps) She married Harry Kirk. They had four children and those are the branches I am interested in. Before she married Harry Kirk she had a son. I am from that branch so really trying to find lost family and fill in gaps. I know it is more modern research but I have pretty much done the rest of the tree over the last eight years or so. Just a few missing bits
I might or might not have any luck but that is genealogy! I hope it comes together.
