yes Kim that's the reason I looked for deaths of parents, it makes it more likely that the one that Sylvia posted is the right one, but I noticed another so will go and check.

There are several likely marriages after 1881, ie right area, but none between 1871 and 1881 that I can see, for that area.

One thing that's really useful is to open a blank Word document (or wordpad or whatever you prefer to use) and copy and paste the relevant bits of info into that and save the file for future reference.
