Member Since: January 2013 Posts: 6 Send Message	Dad married Olive May Garrod (mum) in Wisbech, Cambs in 1936, think it was her side of the family who attended, Dad came to Cambridgeshire to look for work from Lancashire., I was born in Ulverston,where he worked in shipyards They retiurned north before 1937 because my brother was born there

	If your Dad worked in a shipyard, it would most likely have been Barrow in Furness. Ulverston isn´t on the coast, but is very close to Barrow, so maybe they lived in Ulverston
