I am trying to find the parents of my relation named Edward Springfield Hunt, there are about 5 generations named this so its getting confusing.
The one in question is
Edward Springfield Hunt, he married Fanny Cox in 1873 in Hollingbourne Kent.
The 1881, 1891, 1901, and 1911 Census advise he was born c1852 Hucking Kent or Thornham Kent.
On the 1871 census, there appears to be at least 2 possibilities for him...one with parents Edward and Hannah and the other a mother named Elizabeth. I believe the Edward and Hannah one to be him but not sure now why i think this. Although, this one would make him born c1848. What do you guys think?
In the morning i shall be ordering the marriage cert of Edward and Fanny, however i worry this wont actually confirm alot as on the marriage cert it wont confirm mothers name etc. Also, i need the information asap A relation of mine is seriously ill with terminal cancer and is a direct ancestor of Edward, she has asked me to find out about Edward S Hunt, id love to be able to help her before its too late...can anyone help give me your opinions?
