I was told by a elderly Aunt that John was Married to Susan Baldwin, but maybe she was wrong. I do know that John was born in Yorkshire c1824 and he was a carpenter as all my family were.

That marriage is Spin and Bach and he is a Private Royal Marines.

Presumably you obtained Susan's maiden name from the birth certificate of one of their children. Have you considered the possibility that she may have been married before her union with John Ogden? If so she may have married John under her previously married surname.

There is a John Ogden marriage in Greenwich in 1843. There is a Susan Harbett or Harlett on the same register page. I wonder.

As far as John;s birth is concerned your only hope of finding that is via parish records which might indicate a possible baptism. There is one in Halifax in 1834 and as I am sure that you are aware in many cases people were often baptised several years after their birth. Certainly worth a look.

As Susan's birth place is given as Hertfordshire and the family are living in Shoreditch I am guessing that if the couple did marry it would have been in the London area rather than in Yorkshire.

I have traced a Ancestor John Ogden through census and free bmd til his death in London 1909, but now I have hit a brick wall. I can not find any info for his Birth c1824 Yorkshire or his marriage to Susan Baldwin. Could anybody help please.
