John was born in Chapel Hill, Lincolnshire and married Catherine Gadd in 1860. Have found most of the relavant census records, but cannot find out who his parents were, though early census gives Mary Bee as his mother-in-law. There are several John Pattinsons in the area of similar age, but cant find a match good enough to be sure of the parents. |

'Son in law's wife' definitely suggests that Catherine was John's second wife. |
