I am looking for Louisa b 1881 and John Laws b 1875 after the 1901 census
Found them on this Census but they seemed to of vanished after that cant find them on the 1911 census. where did they go. and did they have any children
Found this on the 1911 census but cant make up my mind if this is them or not 1911 Census

The bride missing from that 1895 marriage appears to be Annie Elizabeth Reid. Looks likeshe and John Henry Laws had three attempts at marrying, finally succeeding 22 Dec 1896.

This is John in 1881 with sister Margaret who lives next door on the 1901 census (Read). On this census they are liiving at 13 Hunter Street which is I'm pretty sure what he recorded on the 1911 census and which was subsequently crossed out by enumerator. Not sure where the 'Eliza' comes into this.

Thanks kindly for all your wonderful help folks, i can confirm that the marriage was Dec 25th 1898 Southwark.. She was a Gregory on my ancestry line . I have also found a birth for John Laws b 1898 St Saviour which comes under Southwark could this be there son ?
I will have to check out the leaving the country bit . Brenda

To find out the names of the child's parents, you will need to obtain the birth cert. BUT.......the birth you saw was approx 6 months before their marriage

There are no baptisms on Ancestry for children of the marriage

And, as you can see, there is no record of a child with them in 1901
