	Was it definitely Buckinghamshire ? There is this from a tree on Ancestry Thomas Barber Birth: Before 10 Nov 1771 (10 Nov 1771) - Lincolnshire, England Marriage: 22 Feb 1796 - Stanton-by-Dale, Derbyshire, England Death: 16 Dec 1857 - Stanton by Dale, Derbyshire, England Parents: John Barber - Birth abt 1750 in Ewerby, Sleaford, Lincolnshire, Bridgit Barber Birth abt 1750 in Ewerby, Sleaford, Lincolnshire– Spouse: Ann Winfield Birth Abt 1776 in Stanton by Dale, Derbyshire, England Death 14 Jun 1858 in Stanton by Dale, Derbyshire

	Why would I make it up ? It's not my tree. I'm simply copying what someone else has recorded on their tree on Ancestry. Whether it's correct or not I wouldn't know but the marriage was definitely in Stanton by Dale not Buckinghamshire as it appears in Stanton Marriages page 21.

	It's not my knowledge. I have simply looked at someone's tree who has these people listed. and what do you mean you THINK Stanton is in Derbyshire ????? apology accepted !!

Although I have travelled the world, I am ashamed to say my own country is a bit of a mystery to me.

	I have also posted this on his other thread because it will probably be delete once GR review it and i would not want Bert to miss out BertandGert, Paying member or not, I would suggest you read the board guidelines and the T&C and learn some manners before you ask for help in the future you are already in breach of both the board guidelines and the T&C All the people on the boards who help are just paying Members like you and use their own resources and knowledge plus paid subscriptions to other sites in order to help, GR don't help anyone its all done by the community and no one has to help anyone whether their a paying member or not Roy

	Like PP, I have also posted this on the other thread what a twerp! You have just managed to annoy the members who might have been willing to help you, out of the goodness of their heart. Mike* is one of the ones who has helped thousands of others find information. He has no need to make anything up .......... nor do the rest of us. All we do is use our knowledge, our expertise, and access other sites than GR to find what you are looking for. Many of those sites are subscription ......... and thus we use our own money to help you an others. Old age is no reason to be rude .......... and I'm certain that you are no older than many people on this site! sylvia
