Maddie, Thank you,but I don't think that's them. They hadn't been married that long, only since 1907(Florence Rogers married Alfred Baker) and as far as I know Florence was the eldest child Thanks anyway

Catherine,Yes..I think that is the right one. Florence's mother was named Mary Rogers. The area is right too.Just a missing husband! Thank you very much

Catherine Florence married as Florence Rosina Rogers in 1907. Her father had died in 1894 and her mother was named Mary. This definitely is them Thank you for your help

Catherine and Maddie Very interesting...he vanished!! Florence gave birth to another daughter in 1912 (Susan Baker) and re married in 1918 to Thomas Rees. Both girls used the name Rees and on their marriages named Thomas as their father. I has assumed Alfred Baker has died or something but never found a suitable death for him I wonder if Florence was expecting in 1911 .

there are a lot of alfred bakers that died in WW1, perhaps he was one of them and thats why Susan remarried in1918. Just a thought

Maddie Thank you, that's Susan. Just realised,Florence couldn't have been expecting Susan in 1911....unless she was an elephant! You are probably right about Alfred. He must have been with Florence after the 1911 census was taken. A WW1 death would explain where he vanished to.
