Find Ancestors

My great grandmother was Maud Inkersole (1885- 1946), she married my great grandfather Harry Guidi. After his death she remarried William Wurakon (also Warakan) in 1913. He was a widower at this time and I think he may have had a son, Albert Edward W, with his first wife. I've been trying to find out who his first wife was but I've hit a brick wall !! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Nothing coming up in any census or on freebmd for Warakan or Wurakan - possibly he wasn't British.

Yep thats them. I haven't been able to find him in the 1911. I've searched through Mandeville St and Maiwand Road and nearby streets in Stratford, I know he was here when they married but without any luck. I haven't been able to find him in previous cencuses either, so I think there may be a possibility he came from a different country.

Hi there,
I think Albert may have been Williams son to his first wife, Ive found a Robert on the electoral register with Maud and William later on. Think Bert wrongly registered as Robert instead of Albert.

Hi there,
My grandads brother, Arthur Guidi, was accidentally killed in 1915. At that time his mother (Maud) was in hospital and her children had been staying with Annie Butler. I cant find any connection with the Butlers so I thought that perhaps she may have been related to William Wurakons late wife, but as of yet I haven't been able to figure out who the lady was.
