Im not too sure about this couple and would appreciate your help and opinions before sending for the birth certificate of one of the children

William Bullman b 1847 Bolton, Lancs. Lived in Sheffield, Yorks

Wife is listed as Hannah b 1847 Worksop, Notts. Lived in Sheffield, Yorks

I cannot find a marriage, which according to the 1911 census should have taken place about 1873

On the 1891 census, the couple have a visitor, Emily Hodgkinson. I am wondering if this is Hannah' sister (although there is 20 years age difference) or some other kind of relative?

Not a Sheffield marriage but Rotherham is very close. I am wondering if the couple married a tad late! They both die in the 1920's, Sheffield

The census states he was born in Scotland but I am 'pants' researching Scottish records and regions.

I would love to be able to send for a birth certificate but the name is so common and I cant find him with his father on the censuses?
