Boas...you say " uncalled for responses I sometimes receive"....if you are posting for assistance the responses are by definition "called for". Whether you think they are deserved is another thing. And having not seen the original post or the responses you received before you deleted the thread I cannot comment further. But I will defend all the helpers on here who give their time and assistance and often use their own money in the form of pay as you go subscriptions who do not ask for thanks but do not deserve contempt. If you don't like what you are being told then don't post. As for making it clear to the people who run this "sight"...suggest you check before you submit.

The reason why I dont go to Genes Reunited to often is because of the uncalled for responses I sometimes receive. For your information, I do record and value all help I receive, so the wording of your comment is rather jumping the gun. Also, why the comment( accept the mistake and deal with it), this is not the kind of messages we should be sharing on this sight. This kind of mailing is far too frequent and should stop,and fellow customers should not be so quick to judge and rebuke one another.
I will certainly be making this clear to the people running this sight.

But why delete........just accept that you made a mistake, and deal with it.

Did you make a note of the info people took the trouble to find for you?
