Hi! Seeking Thomas HUXTABLE b. c1829 on 1841 and 1851 censuses please, most likely born in Devon. (EDIT: Think he may be the one in Stoke Damerel)

He married Jane MOOR[E] in 1855 and they emigrated to Australia in 1857 (I have this info and all chn born in SA).

Hi Andy - ooh how annoying that he is a lodger in 1851! Damn inconsiderate of him, I think...!

1841 is a possible...eldest son was named William (though there is a John Hy 1853-1857 Tavistock who I think may be another son, died not long before the emigrated). No Eleanors, Catherines or Arthurs amongst his 10 other chn though...

Might need to get that marriage cert :-|

just saw the 2nd 1841...still no matches except Mary...can you see other possibles for either of these Thos' in 1851/61 (to rule them out????)

This might be the Thomas born Ilfracombe. There are several other possibles all brn with 3/4 years. I think you need his marriage cert.
