I found a probate for Sophia Gabbott died 1925 to Mary Ann Melling wife of John Mayer Melling £3894,19s11d

That was a lot of money.
Sophias husband John Gabbott Probate died in 1883 of 38 Nuttall St Bolton
to Sophia £266.19s5d

John was only a wire worker so where did he get all that money
And where did Sophia a widow for 42 years get her money
Not a direct family member or I would be wondering where it all went
