Sarah Burke - Flax Spinner

I am trying to find any information re the above, who I believe was my great grandmother.
She gave birth to my Grandmother (Louisa Burke ) out of wedlock on 8th October 1878
in Leeds at 13 Edgar Street. I know this because I have my grandmother's birth certificate - which shows no father's name - and also through my mother (now sadly deceased).
I believe that my grandmother (Louisa ) was brought up in some institution (possible Catholic). Louisa met my Grandfather - Christopher Kilroe - in Sheffield.
I would like to know if Sarah ever married, who her parants were, whether 13 Edgar Street was the family home, if not, what it was.
I have just had a thought, that Sarah might have been married when she gave birth to my grandmother, but her husband was not the father! Although the maiden surname of the mother, on the birth certificate is Burke
I can find no trace of a Louisa Burke in the 1881 Census, when she would have been 2/3 years old.
I appreciate that it is a complex scenario, but I would be extremely grateful if someone could help.
Many Thanks

Middo

Quite often only the initials of a person was detailed on census records for people in institutions.

Having said that.........i can't find anything for L B with her details in 1881

Do you have an address for Louisa on the marriage cert? And who were the witnesses?

Christopher, you have PM'd me that you do not know where Louisa was born - so I am guessing you did not have her on a census. As you can see above, she was born in Leeds.
You must put replies on here so everyone can see all your info - type in box below and click 'submit.
And you have ticked my posting above as 'answered' - this marks the whole thread and indicates you do not require further help, which I suspect isn't so! You should be able to remove this I think.
Please can you answer my queries above?

Sorry for my error, I am not very competent regarding these threads etc.
I do need further help anyone can give me.
I understand that Louisa was born in Leeds, it is Sarah Burke whose birthplace I do not know.
How can I correct my mistake re marked threads etc. please?
Thank you very much for your interest.
Kind Regards
Chris

Oh, I see - sorry!

I have never marked a posting as 'answered', but if you look at it, can you see anything which you can click on to reverse this?
Just putting those queries again!

'Do you have an address for Louisa on the marriage cert? And who were the witnesses?'
