Can anyone help please?
My great Uncle Henry (always known as Harry) Coulson was born in Leeds on 09.07.1901. He joined the army and died from Pulmonary Tuberculosis in the Royal Herbert Hospital in London on 15.03.1925. I do not have his army starting date nor do I have any official details of his army career other than those on his death certificate. His death certificate states that he was a private in the First West Yorkshire Regiment. I do not know his service number, nor do know where he is buried. I have contacted the Army Personnel Service in Glasgow for his service details but have been advised that they can find no record of him. It seems he may have used a different date of birth when joining up.
Can anyone advise me how I can locate his records or any details of where the hospital records are likely to be? Similarly where he might be buried?

Hi Gillian

I see you have other threads about this family.

It might be better to post back on those, we can then see all the info on the family
