Robert Adam's father (also a Robert b1799) is the brother of my 3xgreat-grandfather David Adam b1803; they were two of a family of 13 children (that I know of). I haven't found anything after 1841 on any of the other siblings. So many Robert Adams (including my grandfather & my uncle) for generations! :-D

Member Since: June 2005 Posts: 8,791 Send Message	I know Robert was born 1828 in Paisley, all I know about Elizabeth is that she was born c1824 in England (37 on 1861 Census in Calton, Glasgow). Also listed 1861 census are their three sons, all born in Glasgow, Thomas 1854, John 1856 & Robert 1859 (I can't find John's birth entry). I can't find their marriage on Scotland's People, or on Family Search. I know they went to Australia about 1866. Can anyone find their marriage for me please? The ADAM name is often listed as ADAMS. <3
