Does anyone have any connections to Albert Leslie Norris d1986 Liverpool. He was married twice- the second time to my nanna. I know he had children and would like to just complete some gaps in my family tree.

I already have those details and I should have said so but thank you. I was hoping that a family member might have some information on his life before he was married to my nanna - Mary Beaman nee Kavanagh.

I know he had daughters to his first wife and I know he was also in the army and thought he might have also been a POW.

You ought to be able to find the names of the children from his first marriage on Births on this site or for free on http://www.freebmd.org.uk/

If you wanted to contact the daughters by other means, re post with their names + initials, year and place of birth on Find Living Relatives. If you don't have a subscription to more recent BMD (to 2006) other people can look up possible marriages to get their married surname and spouse. You can then try to find them on 192.com, friendsreunited, facebook or the BT phone book

If the first marriage is to Jones then there are quite a few Norris/Jones marriages and births, in Liverpool and also rest of country.

No POW records for A L Norris - or for L A Norris

I did send a message to a relative a while ago but they havent replied as yet and have just searched the trees again and found another member with Norris so have sent a request.

Have you tried researching the man's siblings?

Do you know if the marriage to Lilian Jones is correct?
Did his first wife die, or divorce, or do you not know?
Any idea of any of the daughter's names?

First wife was lillian jones and im sure it was divorce. One daughtrr is caled june

If you look for Norris/Jones births in Liverpool North, you will find Olive, Rita, Lilian J and June between 1940 and 1952.
As the marriage that I found was in 1945, 2 of those daughters probably belong to a different couple. In addition, there are other births in different areas of Liverpool and Lancashire.
I suggest you look for yourself to see which ones you believe are the daughters.
