hi he married sarah in 10 aug 1847 so elizabeth born 1849 would be a good guide i think / he retired from the madras army in 1836 -- which would make him about 37 years old ? . he is in the ianian office records so i think he may have stayed out there for a while, maybe? . kind regards eve
