Find Ancestors

Am trying to find Dorothy Laing b. 1835 Byker, Northumberland on 1851 and 1861 census returns in order to be able to find her parents. I have found her on 1841 living with what appears to be her grandparents. However my next sighting of her is after she married Joshua Stalker. (he was born Bedlington). Could anyone spare a moment to see if they can spot Dorothy and her parents anywhere ? Many thanks.

Thank you so much everyone. I have scoured the census returns like mad and just could not find her parents names. At least now I have William to go on. Incidentally, the baptism would be correct as Byker is on the outskirts of Newcastle on Tyne. Thanks again.

Have you ruled out the 1851 census as Dorathy Lange as it sounds the same

My next problem is to trying to find the marriage of a William Laing born ??? to a Margaret ???. As daughter Dorothy was born 1834/5 the wedding more than likely took place before the 1837 records began so I am guessing parish records would be where that information lies ... but which parish !!! I think I am on a loser with this one.
