If there was a Joseph and he was born in 1853 but doesn't show on 1861 census, then he was either staying with other members of the family such as grandparents or uncles or aunties, or he died.

this one is correct reg.dist. but no proof that it is your boy ????

Have you asked your informant on Mundia to provide evidence of the 1853 birth?

They shouldn't make statements they can't back up..........

I have a Thomas&Margaret Griffiths lived in Llanasa Wales children Margaret,John & jane. I think there could be another child Joseph B 1853 only because someone on Mundia told me but i have not been able to find him myself. Would someone please give me some help with this.
