Birth of Alexander White c1800

Can anybody help me with finding the birth/baptism and marriage of Alexander White, my 4 x Great Grandfather.

According to census returns, he was born c1800 in the northern reaches of Northumberland. (Norham area, but occaisionally he states Scotland as place of birth!!). I have checked Scotlandspeople website, but have found nothing at all on his birth or marriage to Margaret Hunter.

He married Margaret Hunter in about 1828/30.

Any help would be most welcome!
