I've been told that this census is the right one but on ancestry you can't read it
if you put John McManness born 1825 Ireland living in Pendleton Manchester the census comes up
The people I'm after are Stringfellows and they start on the 5th line
Not sure if findmy past have a better view of this census but hoping some one can come up with the names etc

Thank you

Thats the one as you say on ancestry you can't read it I thought findmypast had got better images ??

May be not

GlitterBaby Report 21 Feb 2013 21:30

That is strange on FMP as if you read about the 1851 census and the water damaged images and then click on "Read more about the restoration project" it says the images are on Ancestry
