Hi MarieCeleste, many thanks for all the info. Looked at it from a different angle, and think that Charles Cass in 1881 and 1891 are the same people even though the dates differ slightly. They appear to have moved house. I do know that his great grandaughter Annie born 12/03/1912, her father was Frank who married Mary Burns. Is there any way I can find if Annie had any siblings?

Hello MrsNick - I wouldn't be too concerned about the differences in Charles' age between census, it's quite common to see that. Bear in mind that people were usually less literate in those days and ages weren't quite so important.

Also, flitting from house to house was quite common.

For Annie's siblings, follow what Reggie has already told you about using FreeBMD (link on page 1) and search for births with surname Cass and mother's surname Burns.
