Hi there, i am new to all this.

i have just started my tree again and would love a little help. i have a great grandparent called Florence Starmer, she was born in 1881 in Kettering. Her parents was called Fredueck Starmer and Mary Ann Starmer. I can see them in the 1881 census but after that all of Freduecks and Mary's kids are living with Freduecks parents.
if anyone could give me any help with these 3 people i would be very grateful.
Florence did get married to a Bertram Holmes

Looks like Florence married twice.

First in 1902 to William Kimberley in Kettering.

Then in 1942 Florence Kimberley married Bert Holmes in Kettering.

Thank you so much for all the replies, I didn't know any of the dates of Florence's marriages, I'm so pleased you found her marriage to "Kimberley" as I had heard of this, but the person who I heard it off wasn't sure if it was a rumour. Hello Danielle, when Florence married Bert Holmes she would have been 60 so they wouldn't have had any children after that time, although they may have been together as a couple before then.

Whether you're descended through the Holmes or the Bainbridge line you can trace back by getting a copy of the appropriate marriage certificate for her. You can order from GRO http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/default.asp costs £9.25
