Hi, im trying to find information about Louisa Powell born c1806 Wandsworth, Surrey....she married Richard Skeels in 1822.

On the 1841 census, it appears she has remarried to John Cotterell

If Richard Skeels died i have found a possible 1837 death for him, but cant find a marriage for Louisa to John, i also cant find Louisa on any census after 1861,but cant find a death for her either, and cant see a birth for Louisa Powell to find her parents names

Does anyone have any ideas?

Ancestry has cross ref the 1851 census to a marriage of Louisa Scales to John Cotterill in 1847 but I think that is wrong

There is this death in Stepney which matches the Reg District where she was living in 1861

This is the 1847 marriage of a John Cotterell to a Louisa Scales which lists Louisa as a widow and her father as William Stiles Calico Printer so it does seem unlikely that she was Louisa Powell

Louisa and Richard's son James Richard Skeels is my connection.

James Richard Skeels born c1831 (Death cert confirms he died 1884, greengrocer, his daughter was the informant) married Caroline Liddle 1850 (Marriage Cert confirms father was Richard Scales - should say Skeels, a black smith)

James's Baptism record describes his parents as Louisa and Richard (Richard is a Blacksmith) There were 3 of them all baptised the same day
