Finally found your items regarding William Timmons/Timmings.
The story of the descendants of William and Priscilla Timmons are well recorded up to the present date in the USA. Backed by books, documents and photographic material. What is missing is William and Priscilla's births and their marriage, also where they came from. There is quite a bit of speculation but up till now I have never seen any documentary evidence such as Parish register entries or even a ship's name or passenger list. Knowing which familes they came from. On the Sponsorship document they are named Timmings and yet the family in the USA go under the name Timmons which would lean towards their origins as being Irish. I thank you for the info you have revealed but it would be interesting to know your sources as the current uUS family is divided on the origins of William and Priscilla.

Thankyou Ann for all the info you have posted but I have all this info is documented. The info I am searching for is the birth in 1650 and his marriage to Priscilla in 1679 and and details of where he came from. Many US researchers have posted various places but I have yet to see any evidence. William Timmons in America started a whole tribe of Timmons families.
On the 1879 land deeds he is named as William Timmings not Timmons. If he was born in England I would love to see the record as He could be one of my family.
