Hi, I'm looking for anyone who has Joseph Cartwright in their tree, for more info on him.
He was born 1887, around Birmingham, moved to Nottingham with parents Arthur and Fanny, and had siblings Albert and Alice. All the men worked as leather finishers.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks to all the replies, and so quickly, I'm impressed.
Yes, I made a typo, it should be 1877 for his date of birth. Maybe I should have been a bit more specific too. All the info you have each sent, I do have. What I'm really looking for is getting more current. Did he go on to marry, if so to whom? Did they have children etc? I'm trying to get as up to date as possible, so that maybe I can make contact with any of his living relatives.
I have searched trees, and sent messages to the persons linked, but so far absolutely no replies, so I'm at a dead end, so to speak.

Many, many thanks to everyone. From the info you have supplied, it would certainly seem that Joseph did not marry, and so his direct line stops right there, which is what I was interested in. To fill in the gaps for you - he was my biological grand father. Him and my grand-mother had a baby girl (my mother), but never married, and each went their separate ways. Joseph apparently did the right thing though, and supported my grandmother until she did eventually marry the man I knew as my grandad.

So he did have one child at least....maybe there were others?? but unless he mentioned them in his will (which he may have of course) it would be vertually impossible to trace
