	I am looking for any Jackson from Oxford who survived WW1 or died in service.

	Ok...I have a photo from Oxford paper in 1915 of 6 sons of Mrs Sarah Jackson all serving in war. James RMLI 1895 William 2/4 OBLI 1889 Herbert Leonard 8th OBLI 1893 Arthur H... RFC 1887 Charles D ..Army Ordnance Corps 1879 Horace L RE 1880 William and James I think I have found marriages for after WW1

	Thank you..I will check that one out.. He didnt live long after his discharge unfit then. That leaves Charles D Jackson, Horace L Jackson and Arthur Jackson to find. Thank you again..sonya

	There are two GR members with Horace in their trees. That should always be the first place you look in searches such as this

	Reggie I am sorry about this. The family gave us to understand that these men were casualties of war and none of the family knew of their wherabouts so I searched the casualties lists. I still think Charles Dennis Jackson may have not returned. He was quite old for service wasnt he? sonya

	Well, the evidence disproves the 'stories' Don't take anything at face value........check it out. If Charles Den(n)is isn't on the CWGC site, he wasn't a casualty of the War...... And have you done anything yet about contacting the other GR members?

	Thank You. I have looked on the CWGC site and there are many Charles Jackson entries. I do not know his reg. number all I have is a reference under the newspaper cutting giving AOC which I presume to be Army Ordnance Corps. I could not find his signing up form either (I found this for some of the others) This is handy as it gives the RegNumber. There is one C Jackson Gunner 695554 killed in action 1917. How can I check this ? sonya
